Another 40K Bonus

Our incentive last month worked and 40K players are showing! Let’s keep it up by making this a regular thing. Again for March we will reward you for playing 40K on Thursday nights. Play in 3 out of the 4 Thursdays this month between 5pm and midnight and get 30% off one box set of your choice. (Doesn’t even have to be 40K.) Please come to the counter to tell us you’re here to get credit for showing up. You must be here for at least two hours each Thursday to get credit for that night. Please note that showing up with a 40K book and not playing is the same as not showing up. In fact it’s worse, you’re taunting people who want a game. If you want credit for being there you have to be willing to play.

Announcing Tuesday Night Legacy and 10% Off Magic Singles all day every Tuesday!

Tournaments start at 7pm. 40K New Releases

Games Workshop has officially announced their new rulebook and other products for the end of this month and July. As always preorders are 10% off their listed price. Please get your preorders in now.

I would list all their new items with their prices but I’m not allowed to. To learn what’s coming out go to their website and figure it out…I’d link to their website but I don’t want to deal with a cease and desist letter or lawyers.

Normally we warn you if you’re buying a book that is just about to be updated. This time we did not have official warning until last week. If you bought a 40K rulebook here from May 1st to the present you will get 50% off the new book if you buy it by July 15th. (I am eating this price difference – GW is not participating in this deal – it’s because I like you.) You must either have a receipt from Game Vault or have bought it under your name here at the store. If you bought it under your account we can see your purchases and verify you made the purchase here. You must tell us you bought the book here in order to receive this special discount.

Games Workshop Annual Sale / Games Workshop Annual Price Increase

The good news: all Games Workshop items are 15% off until June 3rd – including orders placed by May 31st and paid for by June 16th.

The bad news: Games Workshop just announced their annual price increase. You can see the spreadsheet of increased prices online (I’m sure someone has leaked it.) or come in and look at it at the store.

I was hoping our June 9th swap meet would take place before the annual increase but it appears that will not happen. Get your orders in by Thursday, May 31st and you’ll get the old price plus 15% off. As usual, what’s on our wall stays marked at the price on their boxes. We only increase prices as we restock but those box sets especially will go quickly. Come and get them at 15% off!!! If you don’t see what you want then order it – order it now and pay for it by June 16th to get 15% off.

        Description: Return to Ravnica Block Booster Draft
        Cost: $15.00
        Prize Support Per Pod:
        1st Place: 9 packs
        2nd Place: 6 packs
        3rd Place: 4 packs
        All other players: 1 booster pack per match win. Only the first bye (if there is one at the start of the tournament) will be awarded a prize pack as if it were a win.
        Last Place: pity pack if they didn't win one another way

        At the end of all booster drafts we will rare and foil draft. Draft the cards to make as good a deck as you can regardless of whether or not you're passing money cards. At the end of all games all rares and foils are placed on a separate table for each pod. 1st place gets first pick, 2nd gets second pick, etc until all players get at least 3 cards.

        Description: Whether you're a veteran, new to the game, or just want to check it out come down Friday nights and check out this WWII miniatures game. Miniatures can be provided to you if you haven't picked up an army yet. This is a great way to figure out what you want to play before you make a large purchase.

        This will be a standard 50 Pt Seamroller 2013 tournament without time clocks. 2 lists max.

        Painting is not requried but is preferred. "It would be pretty." says Josh our soon to be Press Ganger who is running this.
